The colder the temperature, the more appropriate a long dress would be. For a destination wedding in the heat of Hawaii, then a short dress would be the most appropriate and comfortable. What Color Dress Should the Mother of the Bride Wear?
As the mother of the bride, you are given plenty of freedom when choosing a colour for your dress because you do not need to match anything or anyone in particular.
